About Enchantment of the Seas
Explore Enchantment of the Seas as part of our Royal Caribbean ship guides.
Enchantment of the Seas combines a traditional cruise-ship layout with a sociable atmosphere. Its appeal is the chance to settle into a familiar routine: a favourite table, a welcoming lounge and people you recognise as the sailing goes on.
The ship entered service in 1997 and was lengthened in 2005. That history helps explain both its generous pool area and the contrast between its classic design and the expectations passengers bring from newer ships. Cabins, restaurant choice and the style of entertainment deserve a closer look before booking.
A welcoming crew on a ship that shows its age
Expert score: 3.1/5
A short, sociable sailing is the strongest fit for Enchantment of the Seas. My assessment weighs its warm service and manageable scale against dated cabins, uneven dining feedback and a limited choice of attractions.
