How to find your way around

Allure of the Seas is a floating small town, so knowing the layout before you board saves a lot of walking. The ship is organised into seven "neighbourhoods", and the easiest way to find your bearings is to remember three of them: the Royal Promenade on Deck 5 (the indoor high street), Central Park on Deck 8 (the open-air garden) and the Boardwalk on Deck 6 (the family zone at the stern). Almost everything you'll want during the day sits between Decks 5 and 8, the pools and sports are up top on Decks 15 and 16, and the cabins fill the decks in between. There is no Deck 13: the ship skips it, so Deck 14 sits directly above Deck 12. Use the table below for a floor-by-floor summary, then pick a deck for the full detail.

Deck 2 · Medical & Tender

Services

The lowest guest-accessible deck. Midship you'll find the Medical Center, the ship's infirmary staffed by doctors and nurses, and forward/aft are the tender embarkation platforms used when the ship anchors offshore and ferries guests ashore by tender boat.

  • Medical Center (open 8 am–8 pm, on call 24h)
  • Tender embarkation platforms
You'll only spend time here for a medical visit or when boarding a tender in a port without a pier.
3

Deck 3 · Amber Theatre & Studio B

Entertainment + cabins

One of the busiest entertainment decks. Forward is the main level of the three-storey Amber Theatre for the big Broadway-style shows; midship is Studio B, the ice-skating rink that hosts the professional ice shows; and aft is the lower level of the Main Dining Room. Interior and ocean-view cabins with porthole windows fill the rest.

  • Amber Theatre (main level, 1,380 seats)
  • Studio B ice rink & laser tag
  • Conference Center
  • Main Dining Room (level 1)
  • Interior & ocean-view cabins
Forward ocean-view rooms sit below the Deck 4 nightclubs, so light sleepers may hear late-night noise.
4

Deck 4 · Entertainment Place

Entertainment + dining

The nightlife and gaming heart of the ship. Casino Royale, the Blaze Comedy Club, the Music Hall dance lounge (lower level) and the Izumi Japanese restaurant all sit here, along with the upper balcony levels of the Amber Theatre and Studio B and the second level of the Main Dining Room.

Deck 5 · Royal Promenade

Shopping & dining boulevard

The indoor high street that runs almost the length of the ship. Under a soaring atrium you'll find the shops and boutiques, Guest Services and the main lobby, casual cafés and bars, and the base of the Rising Tide Bar that slowly rises up to Central Park. A great all-weather place to stroll.

  • Royal Promenade high street
  • Guest Services & main lobby
  • Rising Tide Bar (base level)
  • Boutiques, cafés & Boleros Lounge
  • Vitality Spa access
The Promenade is the ship's main crossroads; if you're lost, head here first.
6

Deck 6 · Boardwalk

Neighbourhood + cabins

The family neighbourhood at the stern, open to the sky and anchored by a hand-carved carousel. This is also the entry level for the aft AquaTheatre, and forward on the deck is the two-storey Vitality Spa and Fitness Center. Casual bites include Playmakers Sports Bar and Johnny Rockets.

  • Boardwalk neighbourhood & carousel
  • AquaTheatre (entry level, 735 seats)
  • Vitality Spa & Fitness Center
  • Playmakers Sports Bar, Johnny Rockets
  • Boardwalk-view balcony cabins
Boardwalk-view balconies are fun but face inward and aren't fully private; expect some evening noise.
7

Deck 7 · Cabins & Helideck

Cabins + sports

Mostly staterooms, with two standout features at the ends of the ship: the forward Helideck, a bow observation platform that doubles as an emergency helipad and hosts outdoor yoga, and two aft rock-climbing walls open to all guests.

  • Forward Helideck / observation area
  • Two rock-climbing walls (aft)
  • Interior, ocean-view & balcony cabins
  • Forward-facing bow-window staterooms
Some forward cabins sit above the Deck 6 gym, so you may hear equipment during opening hours.
8

Deck 8 · Central Park

Neighbourhood + specialty dining

The signature open-air garden neighbourhood, with nearly 21,000 living plants and the ship's best restaurants running along its paths: 150 Central Park, Chops Grille, Giovanni's Table, the complimentary Park Café and the Vintages wine bar. The Music Hall's upper level is here too.

Deck 9 · Staterooms

A quiet, mostly residential deck of interior, ocean-view, balcony and suite cabins, including inward-facing Central Park and Boardwalk balconies. Look for the two "secret balconies" near the aft lifts, small nooks with a table and chairs overlooking Central Park.

  • Interior, ocean-view, balcony & suites
  • Central Park & Boardwalk view balconies
  • Two "secret balconies" over Central Park (aft lifts)
Aft balconies here get good views of the AquaTheatre shows below.
10

Deck 10 · Staterooms

Cabins

Another residential deck spanning interior, ocean-view, balcony and suite categories, including Central Park and Boardwalk view rooms and the larger Owner's Suites. Two Central Park balconies here (10229 and 10629) are extra-wide, sitting just aft of the living wall.

11

Deck 11 · Staterooms

Cabins

A high residential deck with balcony, Central Park and Boardwalk view cabins, Grand and Owner's Suites, plus forward bow-facing family ocean-view rooms. Extra-wide Central Park balconies are at 11229 and 11629.

12

Deck 12 · Staterooms & Bridge

Cabins

The top cabin deck below the pools. Forward is the Navigation Bridge and the Captain's quarters (crew only); the rest is balcony cabins, Grand and Junior Suites and the aft AquaTheater Suites. Note the two most-aft AquaTheater Suites have slightly lower ceilings.

  • Navigation Bridge (forward, crew only)
  • Balcony cabins, Grand & Junior Suites
  • Aft AquaTheater Suites
  • Central Park & Boardwalk view balconies
Handy location: one deck below the Deck 14 kids' zone and two below the pools.
14

Deck 14 · Adventure Ocean

Kids + cabins

The family and kids deck. Adventure Ocean is the award-winning youth complex with age-split rooms from babies to 11-year-olds, plus the Royal Escape Room adventure game. Cabins run from interior to AquaTheater Suites, and there's a hidden bow-facing sun deck reached through the forward hallways.

  • Adventure Ocean kids complex

  • Interior to suite cabins
  • Hidden forward bow sun deck
Remember: there is no Deck 13, so Deck 14 is directly above Deck 12.
15

Deck 15 · Pool & Sports Zone

Leisure

The main outdoor playground. Midship are three pools (Main, Beach and Sports) and a run of whirlpools; forward is the two-storey adults-only Solarium under a glass roof; and the family Splashaway Bay aqua park, the teen Youth Zone, the full Sports Court and mini-golf fill out the deck.

  • Highest viewpoint on board
  • Aerial views over the neighbourhoods
  • Funnels & antennas
Stairs only: there is no lift to Deck 19.

Use the layout to compare Allure cabin locations with the public spaces and activities around them. The floor above and below a room can be as useful to inspect as the room itself.
