The cruise meetup
Meetups aboard
4,000 people board with you, and you know none of them? Drinks at embarkation, a shared dinner table, a split excursion ashore: meet the cruisers sailing with you before you even step aboard.
No meetup has been proposed yet.
The first person to propose one starts the movement. That is often all it takes.
Meeting people on a cruise starts before you board
Cruising solo makes people hesitate, and the question is always the same: do you get bored when you know nobody on board? The answer is decided on the first evening. A ship boards hundreds of cruisers the same day as you, at the same port: those who arranged to meet before departure, for drinks at embarkation or a shared dinner table, rarely disembark feeling they travelled alone.
That is exactly what these meetups are for: finding the cruisers on your sailing, the ones boarding the same day, on the same ship. You say OK before departure, you meet at the bar or on deck once embarked, you split a taxi at the port of call. And for those who would never dare click on "drinks", the Helping hands category exists for that: first cruise, solo travel, families.
Cruise-Ship.info connects cruisers with each other. Meetups are organised by the members themselves, on board: we do not organise them and are not present at them.
How does it work?
Find your ship
Your cruise line, your ship, your boarding date. Everyone sailing the same day ends up in the same place.
Propose, or say OK
Drinks, a shared dinner table, a card game on a sea day. One click on OK! and you are in.
Meet on board
The spot often firms up once embarked: a bar, a deck, or simply outside a cabin.
